Group Financial Controller/Company Secretary
Kevin joined the CEC Group in September 1998 as Financial Controller, responsible for the Group’s financial reporting and cash flow management. In December 2002 he was appointed Company Secretary and Chief Financial Officer and undertook the dual roles until July 2005 when he relinquished his duties of CFO to focus on those of the Company Secretary. Prior to joining CEC Group, Kevin worked for Ross Mining NL (1992-1998) in various financial positions. Before immigrating to Australia in 1988 he was the Financial Director of Target 4m Pty Ltd, a company actively involved in the South African mining, mobile crane and earthmoving industry.

Manager - Special Projects
Mick has been with CEC Group for over 25 years and during this time has performed various roles within the company from working as a structural concrete subcontractor through to managing various special projects for the Group. Mick’s current role with CEC Group is Manager - Special Projects, where he has been instrumental in overseeing a number of projects from initial concept phase through to the completion of construction. Such projects include; single level office complex for JTB Travel, single level office complex for Pioneer NQ, industrial warehouse for Allied Pickford, office/warehouse facility and pre-cast plant for CEC Group and service station/shopping complex for CEC Group. Most recently Mick has been instrumental in the development and implementation of CEC Group’s new modular building system, RapidBuild.
Peter Behne
Heavy Machinery Diesel Fitter
MTM Workshop Manager
Peter started with CEC in 1982 as a contract Diesel Fitter. He has 32 years of Heavy Earthmoving maintenance experience in most forms of Civil Engineering. As Workshop Manager his responsibilities include supervision of maintenance programs, manufacturing and strategic planning of proposed projects. Peter manages both MTM workshops in Cairns and Townsville which employ close to 40 tradesman and apprentices.
